Handheld computing devices are quickly entering the classroom as a way to jump the digital divide and bring low-cost computing to every student. Teachers and administrators are also benefiting from the "organizer" tools that handhelds bring to classroom and school administration. Examples of innovative uses of handhelds for learning and for administration, as well as information and access to tools and reports, are presented in this area.
